A Rose is a Rose

I have seen the re-inker watercolor technique on many cards and just had to try it. The stamp set is Fifth Avenue Floral by Stampin Up!. I used two of the new In Colors to create the colors on the roses. The colors I used are Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry.

I found a great tutorial on-line at Patty's Stamping Spot.

I love this technique and you will most likely be seeing a few more cards using this technique.

Tomorrow I will show you one of my recycling projects.

Beautiful card Sue. I also love the photos you showed us yesterday. I hope you'll show us the sunflower fully opened!

Hi, Sue...

Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog! I am glad you visited.. This is gorgeous! I love how clever and DIFFERENT this is! Not to mention pretty! :o)

I looked at your cards on Etsy, too, and I love the one with the white bird on it, especially.

Now off to thank you for the award!!

Hugs,
Chris xx
