Recycled card with soda can embellishment

This card is almost completely recycled. The mat is hand made paper with rose petals and leaves in it. The embellishment is made with a soda can.

To make the embellishment I cut out the top and bottom of the soda can and flatten it out. Be very careful that you don't cut your fingers on the edges. In this case I used my new Spellbinder die cut to cut the aluminium and then ran it through the cuttlebug. Then I painted it with ranger distress paint. After it dried , I added ultra thick clear embossing powder to it and then rubbed with brown stazon ink.

Please go to the Creatively-Green message board to see pictures of how it looked before the distressing.
I also created an embellishment with the soda tabs.
