Today is the big day. The design team and contributors from Create It Green are excited to bring you a "green" Christmas blog hop. It starts at 12:00 noon EST and will run until 10pm tonight with tutorials, green crafts and prizes.
We will start off showing you some small green projects and then starting at 1pm we will be showing your some tutorials.
This is the order of the hop for 12 noon today.

This next card was made using parts of vintage jewelry. I went to the antique store not long ago and they were selling bags of old costume jewelry and other little bits in the bag. So I bought some and took all the jewelry apart so that I could use them in different projects. I believe the plaid circle used to be a part of a button. The wreath was an earring. The image is a scrap piece of part with a sticker for the saying. The chipboard ornament is left over from last year. I painted the ornament with gesso ( which is what artists use to prepare a canvas before painting) and then added glitter before it dried.Christi (she has some awesome projects on her blog)
This first card is made with parts of the box that held candy canes. The scallops and the main image are from the candy cane box. I used vintage lace and a Christmas sticker that came with labels in the mail. I roughed up the edges a bit and added some brown ink to try to make it look old.
Please come back here to visit me at 1:00pm EST and 4:00 pm EST to see some tutorials and win some prizes.
I hope you have fun today. Please bare with us since this is our very first blog hop.
Please go visit Cyndi now.
